History

Mortgage Avenue was established as an independent mortgage broker, with the primary objective of matching customers to the right home loan and lender.

Headed by George El Jouni (Managing Director) and Michael Chionis (Lending Director); both have extensive experience in the home loan market, having worked in management positions over the past 18 years with major financial institutions.

Both Directors have tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Banking & Finance, and Marketing and have memberships of the following professional bodies:

• Australasian Institute of Banking & Finance
• Mortgage Finance Association of Australia
• National Institutes of Accountants
• Australian Institute of Management
